Templates Library

The Templates Library allows users to visualize the layout of a particular template on their site without actually changing the live site. The link to the Templates Library is in the site administrator's left navpanel toward the bottom.

The Template Library has these features:

• Clicking the thumbnail will display a larger preview.
• Clicking the trash can will delete the template and the associated preview. it will NOT change any database content page records. There is no recovery for a deleted template other than re-uploading it.
• Clicking the "Check Usage" link will display a panel with pages assigned to the template.
• New templates can be uploaded using the form and will become part of the library.

Templates are generated from a content page record with the headline "Template Preview". Please do not delete this content page, and also make sure it is set to not be active, otherwise it will show up on your live site.

For developers' knowledge, the Templates Library uses the EasyThumb web service to generate thumbnails of the templates. Signup for the service is necessary. You can sign up for the Webthumb service at http://webthumb.bluga.net/home
